What tips can you share when making adjustments in life?

Hi friends! I’ve always loved doors! In my life, they represent fresh opportunities, adventures, pointers, lessons, revelations, celebrations, and more.
In our WP community, opening doors translates into a renewed appreciation for our beloved fellow bloggers and their deeply cherished blogs.
Through my Doors Series, I aim to give our fellow bloggers the gift of sharing a piece of their world. I invite them to guest post on my blog and share their message, their story, their heart. I also encourage them to show how our blogs and worlds link together in love.
After all, IT’S ALL ABOUT LOVE.️❤️
Today, we happily knock on the door of a dear fellow blogger:
Thank you, Yeka for your generosity and invitation to write down my thoughts on your website.
Purpose in Your Work
Day in, day out, I see soulless humans walking past my cubicle. Just watching the clock until it reaches 6pm before shutting down your computer and packing up your bag. With a heavy sigh, you walk out of the office glass doors with the knowledge you will be doing the same thing again tomorrow, the day after, next week and next year, perhaps three or five or ten more years to come.
Throughout my time in the workforce, I strongly tell myself this: if I don’t enjoy doing something for 8 hours in a day, I quit. That’s 40 hears a week of doing something you don’t like! I don’t want to sell my time away to a corporation. I don’t want to slave away for faceless consumers. I don’t want to be a nameless and faceless number in the HR employee files. So it’s either I love the work that I do and I make an impact in my work or I go.
I advocate passion, satisfaction and happiness doing what you love in your job while earning money too. Step by step, bit by bit, everyone can achieve that. Through determination and hard work, there are plenty of resources to allow you to inch closer to that dream and one day, live in it.
While there are many articles online that tell you to love yourself and teach you ways to love your personal life to the fullest, many people forget that their jobs encompass half of their lives. So don’t forget to love yourself beyond your personal time and take a look at how to make your 40 plus hours a week enjoyable in your workplace.
Let’s make the 40 hours you spend each week on your desk worth it.
Thank you!
Kally Tay
Writer, MiddleMe

Thanks so much for opening your door to us, dear Kally! ❤️
You have shared a powerful reminder. In our jobs, as in our lives, we should focus on our purest passions. We should gift ourselves with deep satisfaction in our contributions. We should ensure our happy space in the corporate world. For ultimately, this will redound to our personal success and the success of our organizations. An incredible win-all partnership!
Cheers to you and your empowering inspiration!
So friends, thanks for dropping by!
Do give Kally a special knock on MiddleMe.❤️
Till our next run of Doors, I wish everyone many happy, love-filled days ahead!
And here’s looking forward to opening more Doors with you! ❤️

I appreciate the privilege to share a guest post with Yeka’s readers. She is very generous with her blog, and I encourage everyone to check out her posts on a regular basis.
I have been writing and blogging since October, 2019, and my writing journey has taken me to places little imagined when it all began. My posts are filled with an abundance of poetry and a collection of short stories. As time has moved along, God has encouraged me to write more and more Christian-based poems.
Here is a special poem filled with Expressions of Hope.
Expressions of Hope
Broken faith with God
Flicker of hope remains
Have hope, seek God
Hopeful in His deeds
Place our Living God
Above all other gods
Light turns into darkness
Hiding in the shadows
Yet, God remains close
Hope grows once again
Living tree of hope
Will live into eternity
New buds always sprout
Strength from the Father
There is always hope
Even in darkest times
Life’s trials uproot hope
Adversaries line up against
God hears our cries
Intervenes when hope’s weak
Ancestors of Jacob witness
Their hope in God
The God of Jacob
Always God of Hope
God keeps His decrees
Believe, look to God
God remains always faithful
Our Lord reigns forever
For God’s righteous believers
Hope ends in gladness
Way of the Lord
Offers refuge with wisdom
Follow God with hope
Always in our hearts
Tree of Life endures
Ready to sustain us
Hope shows the light
Steady on life’s course
When spirit is dried
Hope quenches our thirst
God opens hope’s door
Inviting us to enter
I appreciate the opportunity to share some of my writing. In closing, the WordPress community is filled with so many wonderful places to explore, and they are hosted by special and loving people. May your coffee cup always be at least half-full as you journey through life.
Let’s end with a Word from Jesus Christ. From Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
