LOVE GUEST POST, MIRRORS SERIES

MIRRORS: GUEST POST BY KRISTIAN, LIFE LESSONS FROM AROUND THE DINNER TABLE ❤️

I was both elated and surprised when Yeka asked me if I would be interested in writing a guest blog post. Of course I was interested, Yeka is such a sweet and beautiful soul, it is an absolute honor to write a guest post for her wonderful blog!!

Yeka and her blog are all about love, so what better topic to write about?

I lost a friend to suicide recently. This particular friend and I were not extremely close, but I still feel his loss and my heart is so heavy for his loved ones.

I have found so many troubled and lost souls during my 30+ years here on earth, and I think I’m drawn to them, because I too am a misfit, a recluse that has never quite fit in, but the one difference between myself and many of those lost souls I have found is that I don’t mind being different, I have never really wanted to fit in. I have found people who embrace my differences. Who love me for the simple fact that I am me!

If you are reading this, I want you to know that you matter, you are worthy and you are magical! And if you’re feeling like these words aren’t true, I want you stop and think about what you are made of. There is literally star dust in you! I think that’s pretty magical!

Please, I implore you, if you feel like giving up, don’t. Whether you believe it or not, there are people who care. I know, because I am one of them.

Seek help, there are numerous hotlines, find a grief center, talk to a friend, whatever. Just reach out to someone and know that you are capable of great things. Whatever you’re facing may seem like it’s all too much and like the elephant that is sitting on your chest just isn’t going to move, but I promise troubled times don’t last forever. Take it from someone who has been through a lot of troubles and heartaches in her life. I still find reasons to smile and laugh. Life is worth living! I fall in love with people, and poetry, and sunsets, every single day, and if I can so you can you!

Please, please, always keep fighting, and know that you are loved!

I believe in a world so full of hate, it’s important that we spread love. That we reach out to those souls who are feeling lost and unimportant. Let’s make a difference and start spreading love and light!

And for my friend, Chris. I hope you have finally found peace, my friend.

(My friend was a member of this band and the message behind this song is absolutely beautiful.)

Love,

Kristian

MIRRORS: GUEST POST POETRY OF MATHEW, BLOG OF THE WOLF BOY ❤️

His Once More

When Heaven shines it’s light upon me,

I’ll not be weighed down by my fears,

Or the tears, of my past fading behind me.

Instead, I’ll look forward towards a blinding

light, knowing that this time was never taken

from me, but granted freely, as this time was

never truly mine, but only graciously extended

before me. So hark, and heed thusly to how

I’ve used my time because one must know,

that the decision behind my life’s design

was all mine. I’d sought to leave this world

a better place, with a smile upon my face,

as I spent my time awash, in both captivating

joy, and grace. I bow my head as I await

my judgment, I fear not for what may come

because I’ve lived a life of love and those

I’ve touched will not soon allow me to be

forgotten. My deeds and love precede me,

as I gaze upon a lustrous golden gate,

shrowded in white clouds, so opulent and

proud. My heart’s as full as a chalice, over-

flowing with fine wine. I’ve lived, I’ve loved,

and I’ve served my time. Comforted

by the knowledge that in the end,

all things are fine. I know no fear and walk

with open arms towards a celestial embrace,

and in the world behind me, my footsteps

leave remnants of beautiful sprouting

blossoms growing in every step from whence,

I’d sprung, in hues of red, yellow and blue,

encapsulating the world in their aromatic

perfumes. Every gentle brush of my skin

will still be lingering on the flesh of those

I’d, at one point, touched before. My adoration

still seeping through their very pores-

forevermore, and then again onto their

kin, as they revel in the love that only

a pure soul may bring. For myself, I know

not, what’s in store. Yet, I was never their’s

but His, and I’m His once more.

LOVE GUEST POST, MIRRORS SERIES

MIRRORS: GUEST POST POETRY OF ORKIDEDATTER, ORKIDEDATTER ❤️

I am so honered and blessed, thank you Yeka, you filled my heart with so much love and joy.

This community is blessed to have you here, and I am so grateful to you️. You are a lovely soul with a heart of gold and I cheer on you️️.

Well, it is all about love and .. here I go…. my mind twisted and my heart was dancing to my soul thoughts….

Love is hard to describe, but easy to recognize.

In other words; When you first encounter love, maybe true love, you know with yourself that it is what you know.

And when you doubt your feelings, it’s because they’re not real. This is certainly true in many cases. But it is not always the case. For the nature of love is not at all equal for everyone. On the contrary, everyone experiences it in its unique way.

It is difficult to define love and describe how love feels. We must distinguish between love and falling in love. Love is a much stronger feeling than falling in love and needs some time to come forward.

Falling in love is something that you will experience several times in your life, but once many will experience a life-long love. Eventually, this love is transformed into something we call love.

But love is so much more. In every day life I always do small things with great love, because life is fragile. I always tell them I love that “I love you” because life is vulnerable and everybody is on this earth for borrowed time…

So, love more, spread the word and be love.

Love can be spoken in many languages and can be expressed in many ways. I have chosen to express love with this poem.

Coloring Your Day

Much we will meet

we must master many things

get up and listen to the day

the sun’s rays

that arouse your feelings in you

white butterflies wing strokes

what color do you choose today

the path is as new as yesterday

a new chapter in your life

must be written

listen to the depths of yourself

feel your heartbeat

feel your pulse

the fjord is as blue and shiny

as it flows like blood in your veins

your glance catches me

feel the darkness when the day is over

there is more we can still feel

what we can understand

the moon is just as new

but is just as secret

like the day tomorrow

the distant hills of nature remind us

about a bygone era

will never return

with the next morning break you can

make your best day

you can hear someone whispering

you in the ear

that everything should be well done

not be afraid

as a white butterfly should be colored

so can you choose your color of the day

make it your best with great love.

LOVE GUEST POST, MIRRORS SERIES

MIRRORS: GUEST POST POETRY OF BRAD, COMMONSENSIBLY SPEAKING ❤️

REFLECTED TRUTH

When I look into the mirror

Is it me I really see

Or some mere reflection

Of who I want to be

The face seems familiar

A two-dimensional view

But holds no depth of soul

The me does not shine through

I see deep lines and furrows

Carved by passing years

They do not show life full lived

No tell of steadfast fears

I see a mouth, a nose, and ears

Where they were just yesterday

I wonder if I would want to hear

What this man has to say

I worry if the man gazing back

Knows me like he should

Does he see a lesser person

Or perceive a lesser good

How do I tell this man

My failures on this side

To meet the expectations

To live our lives with pride

He must share my looks

Always shares my sorrow

For when he looks back at me

He’s hoping for tomorrow

Is this who I really am

This flat and time-worn face

I’d hoped for a greater man

To stare back in his place

DOORS SERIES, LOVE GUEST POST

DOORS: GUEST POST OF RYAN, RYAN CALLAHAN’S BLOG ❤️

Hi friends! I’ve always loved doors! In my life, they represent fresh opportunities, adventures, pointers, lessons, revelations, celebrations, and more.

In our WP community, opening doors translates into a renewed appreciation for our beloved fellow bloggers and their deeply cherished blogs.

Through my Doors Series, I aim to give our fellow bloggers the gift of sharing a piece of their world. I invite them to guest post on my blog and share their message, their story, their heart. I also encourage them to show how our blogs and worlds link together in love.

After all, IT’S ALL ABOUT LOVE.️❤️

Today, we happily knock on the door of a dear fellow blogger:

Ryan from Ryan Callahan’s Blog ❤️

Hello everyone and God bless you all!  My name is Ryan Callahan.  My blog (www.AuthorRyanC.com) is all about helping people come to know Jesus, helping people understand the Bible, and ministering to a lost and hurting world.  Yeka has invited me to do a guest post for her blog, and I am honored and blessed to do it!  Thank you Yeka!  Your joyful heart is very encouraging!  Since Yeka’s blog is all about love, I would like to share God’s definition of love with you and show you just how much God loves you!

TRUE LOVE

We all like love, but what is love?  What does love look like?  I have good news!  God’s Word, the Bible, answers that for us!  The Book of 1 Corinthians contains a set of verses known as the love verses that teach us what love truly is.  Let’s take a look!

“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.  If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.  If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.  But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.” (1 Corinthians 13:1-8)

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.  But the greatest of these is love.” (1Corinthians 13:13)

What a beautiful definition of love, amen!  We also learn in the Book of 1 John that God is love!  Love is who He is!

“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.  God is love.  Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.” (1 John 4:16)

Since we know the definition of love from 1 Corinthians and we know that God is love, then we know God is made up of all those attributes of love and that is how He loves us!  God is patient, God is kind.  He does not envy, He does not boast, He is not proud.  He is not rude, He is not self-seeking, He is not easily angered, He keeps no record of wrongs.  God does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  He always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  God never fails and God is the greatest!

God showed us just how much He loves us when He sent His Son into the world to die for our sins!  That is the greatest and most loving gift of all!  We only know what love is because of God!

“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.  This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” (1 John 4:9-10)

“We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19)

God loves us so much that He humbled Himself and became a man, Jesus Christ, in order to set us free from sin and death!  Jesus is God in human flesh, Jesus is Lord and Jesus loves you!

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

My message of love to you all is that God loves you more than you could ever imagine and He wants you to be in Heaven with Him forever!  He wants to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life!  You receive God’s gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.  There is nothing you could ever do to earn this amazing gift of God’s grace.  It must be received by faith.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Jesus speaking in John 3:16

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

“This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.  There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:22-24)

Praise God for His great love for us!  His love is the true love we all need!  Come to Jesus today and let Him love you and save your soul!

Grace and peace to you all!

Thanks so much for opening your door to us, dear Ryan! ❤️

You have shared a love that is unlike any other love. A love that know no bounds. A love that knows us all to our deepest core. A lot that embraces . A love that redeems. A love that gives eternal life. A love that is indescribably the very love we all need. The one True Love. God’s Love.

May you be blessed a billion times over for all the passion you have in sharing God’s Love!

So friends, thanks for dropping by!
