DOORS: GUEST POST OF SHEREE, VIEW FROM THE BACK ❤️

Hi friends! I’ve always loved doors! In my life, they represent fresh opportunities, adventures, pointers, lessons, revelations, celebrations, and more.

In our WP community, opening doors translates into a renewed appreciation for our beloved fellow bloggers and their deeply cherished blogs.

Through my Doors Series, I aim to give our fellow bloggers the gift of sharing a piece of their world. I invite them to guest post on my blog and share their message, their story, their heart. I also encourage them to show how our blogs and worlds link together in love.

After all, IT’S ALL ABOUT LOVE.️❤️

Today, we happily knock on the door of a dear fellow blogger:

Sheree of View from the Back ❤️

I’ve never written for a blog other than my own. I typically write about what interests me. Mine is a light-hearted blog, intended to amuse and delight. It’s rare I ever touch on weighter matters and this is largely because I lead a wonderful life. It rarely rains on my parade. And, if it does, it’s never for very long.

Yeka asked me to write about LOVE and I’m conscious that there’s many types of love.

Should I talk about the love between a long-married couple?

Maybe I should talk about the love between friends?

https://cbsloc.al/2UKHSvS

Or what about that between a parent and child?

Finally, Yeka herself provided the spark of inspiration when she commented on one of my recipes.

Yes, I’m going to talk about cupboard love. A love rarely referred to in all the literature. Let me explain further.

My parents were in the food trade and, while I didn’t appreciate it at the time, we consequently ate rather well. My mother was happy to spread our bounty around and our house was always open. It wasn’t unheard of me to turn up with numerous friends in tow for a meal or just a snack. It never fazed my mother. “Never knowingly undercatered” was her leitmotif. Needless to say she was very popular with all my friends. I should add at this point, she was an excellent cook.

During my school days when we went on school trips, everyone always saved a seat for me on the prized back row. Not because they wanted to sit with me but because they hoped to profit from my abundent packed lunch. Yes, my mother would send me off on these trips with enough food for half the coach. I was sensible enough to realise that it was just cupboard love.

Unsurprisingly, invitations to my parent’s parties were much prized thanks to the excellence of my mother’s cooking. Those invitations were often not reciprocated using the excuse that there was no way to compete with my mother. She used to point out that it wasn’t a competition and not having to prepare a meal and clear up afterwards would be sufficient reward for her. This largely fell on deaf ears. I now know how she felt!

I’m well-known on the Cote d’Azur for the cakes I used to make for my former cycling club’s events. My husband’s current cycling club is desperate for me to join and continue the tradition. I’m sure I shall at some point to avoid to losing my notoriety meanwhile there are plenty of riders (and their teams’ support staff) who’d be happy to attest to the excellence of my baked goodies.

Thanks so much for opening your door to us, dear Sheree! ❤️

DOORS: GUEST POST OF KALLY, MIDDLEME ❤️

Hi friends! I’ve always loved doors! In my life, they represent fresh opportunities, adventures, pointers, lessons, revelations, celebrations, and more.

Today, we happily knock on the door of a dear fellow blogger:

Kally from MiddleMe

Thank you, Yeka for your generosity and invitation to write down my thoughts on your website.

Purpose in Your Work

Day in, day out, I see soulless humans walking past my cubicle. Just watching the clock until it reaches 6pm before shutting down your computer and packing up your bag. With a heavy sigh, you walk out of the office glass doors with the knowledge you will be doing the same thing again tomorrow, the day after, next week and next year, perhaps three or five or ten more years to come.

Throughout my time in the workforce, I strongly tell myself this: if I don’t enjoy doing something for 8 hours in a day, I quit. That’s 40 hears a week of doing something you don’t like! I don’t want to sell my time away to a corporation. I don’t want to slave away for faceless consumers. I don’t want to be a nameless and faceless number in the HR employee files. So it’s either I love the work that I do and I make an impact in my work or I go.

I advocate passion, satisfaction and happiness doing what you love in your job while earning money too. Step by step, bit by bit, everyone can achieve that. Through determination and hard work, there are plenty of resources to allow you to inch closer to that dream and one day, live in it.

While there are many articles online that tell you to love yourself and teach you ways to love your personal life to the fullest, many people forget that their jobs encompass half of their lives. So don’t forget to love yourself beyond your personal time and take a look at how to make your 40 plus hours a week enjoyable in your workplace.

Let’s make the 40 hours you spend each week on your desk worth it.

Thank you!

Thanks so much for opening your door to us, dear Kally! ❤️

You have shared a powerful reminder. In our jobs, as in our lives, we should focus on our purest passions. We should gift ourselves with deep satisfaction in our contributions. We should ensure our happy space in the corporate world. For ultimately, this will redound to our personal success and the success of our organizations. An incredible win-all partnership!

Cheers to you and your empowering inspiration!

Madved from Inchiostro e Silenzio ❤️

Well, what about me and my little blog. I’m a writer and illustrator working at many projects. In a while it’ll be published my biography a really good work that I’ve done with a friend.I love darkness and dark mood, it’s my way of acting art and life which is ruled by the moon, the fog, and windy creepy nights.I love what I draw, sometimes scary, others ironic and out of time.I suffered in my childhood of “loneliness” this is why I feel great in Tim Burton’s world. My love for Tim Burton brought me to work hard and try to achieve my drawing style. When children’s diseases are too strong to get rubbed away, they need to “create” new realities. That’s what I’ve done in my life transforming bad things in good things.I’m not a sunny person who loves lights and brightness, but I feel in my heart all the colours of the world. Respect, friendly words and cooperation is the way I go through life everyday. Nothing grows up without respect. Here a few of my drawings that reveal part of my past and part of my present, the meaning of blog: writing and drawing what it’s been and what it is now

And this is me, 49 years, a simple woman, wife and mother of three young guys.

Thanks so much for opening your door to us, dear Madved! Grazie mille con amore! ❤️

You shared your story, your artistry, your mind, your heart. And it is quite fascinating that you feel all the various shades and tints of the world. On a deeper level, you helped us apprecaite the value of respect , courtesy, kindness, and collaboration.

May your passion bring you even more wondrous joy and fulfillment!

DOORS SERIES, LOVE GUEST POST

DOORS: GUEST POST OF RYAN, RYAN CALLAHAN’S BLOG ❤️

Ryan from Ryan Callahan’s Blog ❤️

Hello everyone and God bless you all!  My name is Ryan Callahan.  My blog (www.AuthorRyanC.com) is all about helping people come to know Jesus, helping people understand the Bible, and ministering to a lost and hurting world.  Yeka has invited me to do a guest post for her blog, and I am honored and blessed to do it!  Thank you Yeka!  Your joyful heart is very encouraging!  Since Yeka’s blog is all about love, I would like to share God’s definition of love with you and show you just how much God loves you!

TRUE LOVE

We all like love, but what is love?  What does love look like?  I have good news!  God’s Word, the Bible, answers that for us!  The Book of 1 Corinthians contains a set of verses known as the love verses that teach us what love truly is.  Let’s take a look!

“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.  If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.  If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.  But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.” (1 Corinthians 13:1-8)

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.  But the greatest of these is love.” (1Corinthians 13:13)

What a beautiful definition of love, amen!  We also learn in the Book of 1 John that God is love!  Love is who He is!

“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.  God is love.  Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.” (1 John 4:16)

Since we know the definition of love from 1 Corinthians and we know that God is love, then we know God is made up of all those attributes of love and that is how He loves us!  God is patient, God is kind.  He does not envy, He does not boast, He is not proud.  He is not rude, He is not self-seeking, He is not easily angered, He keeps no record of wrongs.  God does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  He always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  God never fails and God is the greatest!

God showed us just how much He loves us when He sent His Son into the world to die for our sins!  That is the greatest and most loving gift of all!  We only know what love is because of God!

“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.  This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” (1 John 4:9-10)

“We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19)

God loves us so much that He humbled Himself and became a man, Jesus Christ, in order to set us free from sin and death!  Jesus is God in human flesh, Jesus is Lord and Jesus loves you!

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

My message of love to you all is that God loves you more than you could ever imagine and He wants you to be in Heaven with Him forever!  He wants to forgive all your sins and give you eternal life!  You receive God’s gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.  There is nothing you could ever do to earn this amazing gift of God’s grace.  It must be received by faith.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Jesus speaking in John 3:16

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

“This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.  There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:22-24)

Praise God for His great love for us!  His love is the true love we all need!  Come to Jesus today and let Him love you and save your soul!

Grace and peace to you all!

Thanks so much for opening your door to us, dear Ryan! ❤️

You have shared a love that is unlike any other love. A love that know no bounds. A love that knows us all to our deepest core. A lot that embraces . A love that redeems. A love that gives eternal life. A love that is indescribably the very love we all need. The one True Love. God’s Love.

May you be blessed a billion times over for all the passion you have in sharing God’s Love!

So friends, thanks for dropping by!
