LOVE, PRAISE, AND WORSHIP

WHERE ART THOU, O LORD? ❤️

History narrates how Generals of Faith sought God throughout the valleys of their lives. Others sought Him in desperate moments when they wished that miracles would wipe away their sorrows.

“Where art Thou, O Lord?” This may be a question that some among us ask in the deepest recesses of our souls. When we look around and see the unsettling uncertainty, the pervading sadness, the paralyzing fear, the debilitating angst, the polarizing disdain, the cantankerous commentary, the ubiquitous toxicity, the engulfing pride, the intoxicating greed, the boiling-point frustration, the tempestuous anger, the looming danger, the painful deaths, the haunting grief.

One naturally questions to make sense of what is happening globally in an unprecedented magnitude and intensity. Oftentimes, when one seeks answers, he looks outward. He scopes the environment to gather data intelligently, to weigh the facts, to think critically, to assess the current situation, to map out strategies, to navigate the territories, to recalibrate if need be.

We are all human. And humans ask questions. Questions are never our enemies. On the contrary, questions are our friends. For they help us focus our attention on seeking answers, on generating ideas, on providing solutions.

And questions don’t necessarily need to be answered with a period, or even an exclamation point. Questions can be appreciated more reflectively with an ellipsis, pretty much like an ongoing journey in life and discovery.

Do you have a lot of questions today? It’s okay. Remember, we have a Big, Loving God! And He longs to answer all of our questions. He relishes it when we invite Him in our faith walk, our love walk, our hope walk, our everyday walk. He is so real, in fact, even more real than you could ever begin to imagine. And we are so immensely blessed and privileged that we can ask Him any question at any point of our walk. He is with us 24/7.  He is always ready to listen. Always ready to answer. Always ready to guide,  provide, protect, refresh, re-energize,  re-invigorate, nourish, embrace, and simply love us. To solidly be there for us.

So where do we find God today? How do we find God today? We find Him in the deepest recesses of our souls. We find Him as we humble ourselves before Him. He says in His Word, “I love those who love me; And those who diligently seek me will find me.” (Proverbs 8:17)

In the stillness of our hearts, in the quietness of our souls, we will find Him. And He will gently whisper His Word in Love, “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10)

The deeper impactful question to ask is “How does God find you today?”  Are you making yourself available to Him? Do you post a welcome sign at the door of your heart? Do you prepare a feast of pure yearning for Him? Do you lovingly invite Him into your life?

Oh, what joy awaits you!!! He longs to bless you, He longs to empower you, He longs to fellowship with you, He longs to comfort you, He longs to stay with you. He longs for you.

And blessed is that day when you say “Yes, Lord, You are welcome here.” For that will open the floodgates of Heaven: the inundation of your palpable inspiration, irrepressible joy, emancipating hope, indomitable faith, enduring patience, unyielding fortitude, impregnable gentleness, transformative kindness, calming steadfastness, and humble victory. Truly, all fruits so sweet and refreshing.

LOVE OVERFLOWING. That is the mark of God’s Holy Presence. May you be touched with His Love today.

THE MANY FACES OF LOVE ❤️

2018 and 2019 have been such FAITH-BUILDING years for me.  Although I thought I was a giant of faith, I realized that faith had so much more room to grow in my life.

My family has always been my immovable pillar of strength.

And dear friends who have become family exponentially added courage to my faith walk.

Above all, Our Heavenly Father, the Author and Giver of Faith, has immeasurably blessed me with every step throughout my journey. How uplifting it is to experience His gift of Faith. So real. So intimate. So deep. So powerful. So life-giving.

And how does one say Thank You for such a priceless gift? Well, one simply continues to grow, to live, and to love with it.

Thank You so much for blessing my faith walk, Dearest Father God. Thank You for blessing me with loving hearts who join me in my journey. Yes, these many faces of love and so many more.

I lift them all in sweet gratitude to You. And I keep on pressing on … setting my eyes, my heart, my hope, my core on YOU.

Here’s to  FAITH! Here’s to LOVE! Here’s to YOU!
