DOORS SERIES, LOVE GUEST POST

DOORS: GUEST POST OF ASHOK, MUSINGS OF A WANDERER ❤️

Hi friends! I’ve always loved doors! In my life, they represent fresh opportunities, adventures, pointers, lessons, revelations, celebrations, and more.

In our WP community, opening doors translates into a renewed appreciation for our beloved fellow bloggers and their deeply cherished blogs.

Through my Doors Series, I aim to give our fellow bloggers the gift of sharing a piece of their world. I invite them to guest post on my blog and share their message, their story, their heart. I also encourage them to show how our blogs and worlds link together in love.

After all, IT’S ALL ABOUT LOVE.️ ❤️

Today, we happily knock on the door of a dear friend and fellow blogger:

Ashok from Musings of a Wanderer ❤️

It is an honor and such a pleasant surprise to be asked to write a Guest Post by Yeka. I have been very busy with some personal work and have not been blogging. But there was no way I could say no to this immensely loving friend and fellow blogger. I would gladly fly thousands of miles to have one hug from her.

She has gone through extremely challenging times and has come out of these stronger, more resilient and more filled with love. And she keeps sharing her love and her light with all️.

I share her belief and faith: Only Love!

For me too, love is all there is.

God is Love and Love is God!

Love heals.

Love redeems.

Let us all join together in this divine circle of eternal love.

WHAT IS MY RELIGION

I am a Hindu by birth. But if someone asks me what is my religion, I would say:

• It is compassion

• It is kindness

• It is being humane

And my God is: LOVE

My God is not sitting in a temple or a church or a mosque or any other place of worship. There is no god sitting on any mount or in any heaven!!

The love in our hearts is God! If you are kind, if you are compassionate, you are godly, you are spiritual!

There is no God outside of you. There is no God outside of me. There is no God who can ever be explained or defined!

Love doesn’t need any language. Love is a feeling and it can only be experienced. Love only needs loving! And God Being Love needs only loving. And God can only be experienced.

Hindu scriptures describe God as: Satchitananda — Sat Chit Ananda

Sat: Ever Existent

Chit: Ever Conscious

Ananda: Ever new Bliss

That is my God. That is the God I worship. That is the God I love. And that is the God I see and feel in the places of worship of all faiths and religions. Once we are filled with love we shall always be blissful.

And ultimately my Father and I are One.  Indian rishis and scriptures had said that too, millenniums ago: I am He. My soul, my love is a vital and inseparable part of the Great Spirit, of Divine Love.

The Holy Geeta, Bible and Quran sit side by side on the shelves of the bookstores and they never fight! Those who fight are the ones who have never read them or have not imbibed their message of love, universal peace and brotherhood!

There is not and there can’t be any difference in: Christ Consciousness or Krishna Consciousness or the Consciousness of Prophet Muhammad and Buddha; or any self-realized being.

There is no God of vengeance and there is no God we should be fearful of.

God is Love

God is Peace

God is Joy

God is Bliss

God is Patience

God is Compassion

God is Light

God is Purity

God is Beauty

Unselfishness is God

Nature is God

God is in the fragrance of the flowers.

God is manifest in every sunrise and every sunset.

God is manifest in the smile of the child and in the hug of a friend.

God is there in every pure emotion and thought.

We are going through very turbulent times. There is so much unrest and uncertainty in the young as well as old. The only way we can help the world is by changing our consciousness; and by not getting sucked into the negativity being spewed by media, the politicians and their allies. Once we raise our consciousness, once we become love, once we tear the veil of separation, we help whole of humanity.

I will love till my last breath.

In Divine Friendship,

Ashok

Thanks so much for opening your door to us, dear Ashok! ❤️

You have shared your freedom that comes with going beyond religion. Your liberation from the polarizing and divisive stands that institutions take. Your emancipation from biases, labels, and judgments.

And in your life, faith is a way of life. You have inspired us to be more tolerant with healthy respect and acceptance, with open minds and loving hearts. Instead of focusing on differences, we can acknowledge our similarities in goodness of soul and spirit. We can press ever so passionately into all that is True Love. For God is Love and Love is God. ❤️

So friends, thanks for dropping by!

Do give Ashok a special knock on Musings of a Wanderer!

Till our next run of Doors, I wish everyone many happy, love-filled days ahead!

And here’s looking forward to opening more doors with you! ️❤️

A YBP LOVE POST, YBP LOVE POSTS

BE-YOU-TIFUL! ❤️

Hey YOU. Yes YOU! That’s who I want to see. In unadulterated beauty. In unfiltered goodness.  In genuine purity. In elegant simplicity. In silent eloquence. In boisterous merriment. In reticent pensiveness. In raging boldness. In out-of-the-box madness. In irrepressible humor.  In unquenchable curiosity. In all-that-you-truly-are form.

I want to see YOU draped in nothing but your authenticity. Yes, the real you. Not the dolled up, heavily made up you. Not the multiple-diet, pound-shaven you. Not the embellished, propped-up brand you. Not the insatiably hungry-for-likes you. Not the superficial, insta-you. Not anyone else attempting to be you.

Why? It’s the only language that I know, in my head and in my heart. Authenticity. In my world, everything is just as it is. Real and deep to the core. Yes, wrinkles, spider veins, and more.  I say what I mean and I mean what I say. I do what I do because that’s my personal choice.  I carve out my day in a way that honors my soul and casts my light on whom I want to behold.

So, if you’d like for us to live happily in our shared world, this would be a great start. I’ll be myself and you’ll be yourself. It’s as simple as that. Be-YOU-tiful! That’s all you ever have to be! ❤️

This is my love message to my nieces and all the young girls in my life. And yes, this is also a sweet reminder for all gorgeous women out there who know that their real beauty and worth lie in who they are deep within. To all of you ladies, Stay Be-YOU-tiful! ❤️

SPIDER VEINS?!? YUCK!!! ❤️

“Eeew spider veins?!? You’ve got spider veins?!? Yuck!!!” Woah! It took my ears a few minutes to recover after hearing that “observation” or insult hurled at me.  I have to admit, it took my heart a week. Okay, staying real, two weeks. Haha!

Sounds quite juvenile on my part to need a long recovery period, huh?  Well, it took much longer for my heart to get over it when I remembered who actually blurted out that “spider vein feedback”. Or, should I say unsolicited advice?

It all happened one light, breezy, sunshiny day. The weather was as gorgeous as it could get. So, I wore a lovely summer dress to celebrate the sunshine. I was definitely “dressed for the occasion”, so to speak.  Light. Breezy. Sunshiny. That’s how I felt deep within. No cares in the world. Just bliss. Ahhh. Pure bliss.

Then, out to nowhere, “you know who”….. (Oh sorry, you DON’T know who …. Well, I’d rather keep it a mystery, if that’s okay with you. It’s a delicate matter of sensitivities. I’d prefer to zero in on some life insights born that day.)….. anyway, to continue, “you know who” jumped at me, both literally and figuratively, and took me by storm. At that point, the weather drastically changed. From a sunshiny happy day to an overcast gloomy day. Or at least, that was the intention of “you know who”. Well, sorry to disappoint her, but her plan was thwarted. No one was going to rain on my sunshiny day, haha!

Initially, I was dumbfounded. However, when I mulled over it, I burst into indignant laughter in my head. I mean, seriously?!? It’s unbelievably hilarious how some people make it a life mission to obliterate the happy hearts around them. The crazily awesome thing about happiness, though, is that when it comes from deep within, no amount of heavy rains, thunderstorms, insults, naysayers, doomsayers, or whatever negatively charged forces there are, can ever cause it to dissipate.

We all pretty much have our own “Cheer Team”. And we celebrate them with love. As for the detractors and green-eyed monsters, sure they may attempt to block our path to the yellow brick sunshiny road, but they ain’t stoppin’ us, no way!

On a personal note, I thought to myself. Hmmmmm. A few spider veins on my thighs (what with all the heels I’ve worn in my earlier teaching/ training days)? Well, I really don’t mind. In fact, I’ve “made friends” with them, haha! They never bothered me anyway. BUUUUT having to deal with spider-veined souls? (Just saying! ….) Now, THAT is totally unacceptable to me. My happiness is non-negotiable!

In my life, amidst the erratic climate ….. the  sudden weather shifts from droughts to torrential rainfall, I choose to embrace the sunshine within me.

So, what did I do that day? I simply smiled and walked away. Yup, that’s me, I don’t stoop to the lowest levels unnecessarily. I wore my phone headset and checked my playlist. Then I happily sang along …. “I can see clearly now, the rain is gone, I can see all obstacles in my way, gone are the dark clouds that had me blind, it’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day …. it’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day!” ❤️

It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day! ☀️☀️☀️
