MIRRORS: GUEST POST POETRY OF RICHARD, BIG SKY BUCKEYE ❤️

GOD’S MIRACLE

God always manages an astonishing plan

He stretches His hands across the land

~

He spends six days building His creation

Then He smiles at His brilliant sensation

~

Again and again, God shows He is in charge

His Holy presence looms, caring and large

~

His Book of Life satisfies with infinite pages

He sends His son as a sacrifice, for the ages

~

When our Savior rises on Easter morn

God proves His way brings perfect form

~

A woman grows up, dreaming of more

She longs to be a wife with love to soar

~

She looks forward to being a mother

God would have it this way, no other

~

A devoted man with his son, will now deploy

Her sacred marriage brings her much to enjoy

~

She becomes a wife and mother in one day

Wow! God’s plan brings much delight today

~

Alas, something is missing in a life filled with peace

An unfilled yearning to bear a child, the final piece

~

Through much prayer, faithful words to offer

The couple places their trust with the Father

~

A young girl appears, needing a loving place

They become her foster parents, with haste

~

Over time, the girl discovers love, with such vastness

The home permeates with love, without any sadness

~

But wait—the story carries on for a year

Now adoption lies ahead, without fear

~

Father, mother, son, and now a daughter

God’s love touches all, thicker than water

~

Praise God, our heavenly Father this day

Praise His miracles that astound and say

~

God always manages an astonishing plan

He stretches His hands across the land

REBLOGGED: Little Lion ❤️

“To express, to be loved, to be nurtured, and adored….” ❤️
This is what my heart has longed for all my life. For LOVE is the language that I speak. And I am so deeply humbled that this heart’s desire has been realized in this utterly precious poem. Richness of art and abundance of heart …… EMERGING FROM THE DARK NIGHT! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Little lion

Here you live deep inside my heart

And I know now

Only forces of darkness

Tried to keep you quiet

As they clipped your growing claws

And hated you for

Your refusal to just stay quiet

And be ignored

For it is the inner light

Of your eyes

That shows me the way to go

It is the inner fire of your heart

That guides me home

And so it is I take refuge in the flames

As I choose to stay closer to

My wilder self

For little lion

You were born

For a different world

To express

To be loved

To be nurtured

And adored

REBLOGGED LOVE POST

A LETTER TO YEKA ❤️ (Reblogged)

I was kissed by an Angel ❤️ My Beloved Beautiful Dragon Warrior ❤️

Serene's avatarDen of Dreams

Dear Yeka,

I know, I have met you just a few days ago but already you have won a big place in my heart. I don’t know of enough words to describe the lovely and cheerful personality you have. You certainly are really sweet and lovely and amazing! I am really happy that I had found your lovely, warm place. You are a warrior, and a protector indeed.

Yeka

A warm ray of happiness,

Always smiling, full of cheers

Always accepting, always helping,

Spreading light everywhere,

Dear Yeka, you know the beauty

And the real shape of love,

You the silver lining,

Of every grey cloud, looming above,

And that’s what makes you so pretty.

You are brave, always sweet,

You know how to take defeat

With a smile. You are brave,

For you fight for the right.

I admire you a lot,

And with you, it’s all about love.

A YBP LOVE POST, YBP LOVE POSTS

YOU HAD ME AT HAIKU! ❤️

haiku, oh, haiku

what would I do without you?

you open my world

As a little girl, I was mesmerized one day at elementary school. I still remember her name. Mrs. Hadarly. She opened my eyes. She opened my mind. She opened my heart. She opened my world. She introduced the haiku to me in class.

I was as giddy as one could get when I came up with my first “tiny poem”. That’s how my classmates coined it. All of a sudden, I felt immediately transformed. Wow, an “artist” is born, I thought to myself.

So my haiku adventure began. I had loads of thoughts to share, although words didn’t come that easily. My classmates and I referred to dictionaries just to write our haikus in class. You see, terms weren’t “Googable” yet, haha! (Ooops that obviously reveals my age, so let’s not get into that! *wink, wink*)

Something magical happened when I completed my haiku project. My teacher said that my work was very good. And that was music to my ears. In fact, it played a lovely song in my head the whole day. Her positive feedback got me all fired up and I wished then that we could just focus on haikus the whole year. I loved the feeling of being great at something!

Fast forward to this day. I enjoy my romance with haikus. In fact, I tease myself that if the haiku were a fine gentleman, I would’ve married him, haha!

As I go through life, I find myself thinking in haikus. I love to be in the moment and view the world from different angles, with different glasses, considering different lifestyles, different stages, different backgrounds. My natural empathy draws me to others and inspires me to reflect on possible haikus for their lives too.

I love the haiku for its simplicity, its purity, its authenticity, its depth, its insightfulness.

Anyway, hmmm, I wonder how Mrs. Hadarly is doing these days. Would love to visit and thank her over a cup of coffee …..

dear mrs. hadarly

little yeka loves you so

you have sown your seed

HAPPY SUNDAY FRIENDS!

Thanks so much for joining me on this lovely day! Do drop me a haiku. That would make my heart smile! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
