DOORS SERIES, LOVE GUEST POST

DOORS: GUEST POST OF MARGARET AND NEAL, WANDERING TOGETHER ❤️

Hi friends! I’ve always loved doors! In my life, they represent fresh opportunities, adventures, pointers, lessons, revelations, celebrations, and more.

In our WP community, opening doors translates into a renewed appreciation for our beloved fellow bloggers and their deeply cherished blogs.

Through my Doors Series, I aim to give our fellow bloggers the gift of sharing a piece of their world. I invite them to guest post on my blog and share their message, their story, their heart. I also encourage them to show how our blogs and worlds link together in love.

After all, IT’S ALL ABOUT LOVE.

Today, we happily knock on the door of our dear fellow blogger
s:

Margaret and Neal from Wandering Together

Thank you, Yeka for inviting us to do a guest post on your wonderful blog!

By way of introduction, we’re Margaret and Neal, proud owners of the blog Wandering Together.  We’re a Denver-based engaged couple set to be married in the next couple months, and we started Wandering Together to document our travels and experiences.  In this digital age, it’s easy to let things pass, as no more than a moment in time, or to forget all the people and experiences we should be grateful for.  Through Wandering Together, we’ve made two promises to each other.  First, we’ve promised not to let our most special memories be pushed to the back of our minds by the distractions of daily living.  Second, we’ve promised to always seek out adventures with each other, and not become complacent in our lives together.

Through this journey, we’ve learned many important lessons about ourselves as individuals and as a couple.  In keeping true to Yeka’s love of love, and in our love of and dedication to each other, we’d like to share a few of those with you.

Lesson 1 – The sun rises and welcomes a new day no matter where you are.  Sometimes it welcomes you in a beautiful location where you’ve longed to be (such as Tulum, Mexico where we took this picture), and other times it welcomes you under less than desirable circumstances.  Either way, each new day is a new opportunity to show love to yourself and love to others.  Don’t let the opportunity pass you by.

Lesson 2 – Sometimes life puts mountains in your way.  Allowing yourself to be vulnerable enough to seek the support and guidance of another makes the climb so much easier.  After all, the view from the top is always the best one!

Lesson 3 – Don’t let the small things get in the way of the big picture.  Neal and jetlag are a bad combination.  Fatigue and hunger make Margaret hangry.  In the big scheme of things, our times of being lesser than our best selves are brief, while our times of being grateful, happy, funny, and loving human beings are predominant and long lasting.  How is that possible?  By recognizing in each other that, even in our times of weakness, at our cores we’re always the best versions of ourselves.

We so appreciate this opportunity to share a little piece of ourselves.  If you feel like following along, check out our Word Press blog, Wandering Together.  While our blog is travel and lifestyle focused, we hope to always demonstrate that it’s the person (or people) you’re with that matter most.

Thanks so much for opening your doors to us, dear Margaret and Neal!

Your love and dedication to each other are unparalleled! You inspire us to celebrate special moments and keep them treasured in our hearts forever. You inspire us to stay grateful in our everyday living too.

Life is truly a journey. We value your abundance in sharing your powerful lessons of hope and inspiration.

Our sweet wish is that your journey will lead you to even more awesome travels and adventures TWOgether in LOVE!

So friends, thanks for dropping by!

Do give Margaret and Neal a special knock on Wandering Together! ❤️

Till our next run of Doors, I wish everyone many happy, love-filled days ahead.

And here’s looking forward to opening more doors with you! ❤️

DOORS SERIES, LOVE GUEST POST

DOORS: GUEST POST OF ROBERT, WATCHING DAILY AT WISDOM’S GATES ❤️

Hi friends! I’ve always loved doors! In my life, they represent fresh opportunities, adventures, pointers, lessons, revelations, celebrations, and more.

In our WP community, opening doors translates into a renewed appreciation for our beloved fellow bloggers and their deeply cherished blogs.

Today, we happily knock on the door of a dear fellow blogger:

Robert of Watching Daily At Wisdom’s Gates ❤️

Dear Yeka, thanks for this opportunity, bless you 🙂

PASSIONATE LOVE

Love by definition is passionate. A half-hearted love isn’t much of a love at all!

I want to share a passion of mine, which is writing. That might seem a bit obvious — of course I like writing — I’m a blogger! But my passion isn’t just writing for writing’s sake, but to share the love of God in Jesus, the Savior of the world.
I wrote during my full time education. I had to! But I enjoyed it. After Uni, I got mentally ill. Most of the writing I would do would be to scribe Scripture, which was a comfort to me in my mental distress.

Then an old Uni friend, Eric Mwathi, himself an excellent poet, encouraged me to get into poetry. I’m not very good at it, but it’s a great way of expressing yourself, very therapeutic.

I’ve actually written and self-published a book of animal themed children’s poetry that you can check out on Amazon if you want- “Menagerical Animalariumisterious Ponderosaeticalioness”— something like that — I might have forgotten how to spell it properly!

Then a friend and mentor told me I should start writing in earnest. I don’t know why, because she’d never seen my writing. But I started writing daily devotionals based on a daily reading Bible a friend gave me. Initially I emailed them out to a few friends, but now I mostly just stick them on the blog and the YouVersion Bible app.

When studying Proverbs with an old pastor, we stumbled across a phrase: “Watching Daily At Wisdom’s Gates”. He joked that it would make a good name for my writing ministry, and the name’s stuck!

People tend to assume that the meaning of life is the pursuit of happiness. I think the Beatles were closer to the truth when they sang, “All you need is love”. But I would suggest that all we need is God’s love, not necessarily romantic love.

This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and gave His beloved Son for us, to cover our sins in His blood.

The meaning of life is to wholeheartedly love the God who passionately loves us, and to love one another as He has loved us.

If you know that love, tell it to the world! If you don’t, come and receive God’s love for you. It doesn’t matter who you are and what you’ve done- He doesn’t want you to perish but to have eternal life.

All you need to do is turn from selfish sin and enter into His boundless love.

God bless, and lots of love,

Robert

P.S. I’ve also written a book of devotionals available on Amazon called Watching Daily At Wisdom’s Gates.

Thanks so much for opening your door to us, dear Robert! ️❤️

You have a very powerful story to tell. And yet, you help us refocus on THE ULTIMATE POWER STORY.  GOD’S LOVE.

Through your journey, you give us a peek into renewed hope, comforting steadiness, and unshakable assurance.

But above all, you give us your gift of LOVE. Your precious gift of inviting us to receive GOD’S LOVE.

A love that know no bounds. A love that gives everything without a price tag. A love that says, “I love you exactly for who you are ….. just as you are right now.” After all, a half-hearted love isn’t much of a love at all!

May we all be warmed by the embrace of God and His whole-hearted, priceless, unconditional love for us all! ❤️

So friends, thanks for dropping by!

VIP LOVE COMMUNITY

DOORS: GUEST POST OF KEVIN, WHAT WORDS MAY COME ❤️

Today, we happily knock on the door of a dear friend and fellow blogger:

Kevin of What Words May Come ❤️

Thank you, Yeka, for your loving, kind invitation to Guest Post on your blog.  I am honored and humbled by the experience!  Your tender heart is perfectly reflected in the words you post, and I feel so blessed to call you my friend.  Your life-resilience is admirable beyond words…

I have many passions in my life:

• God

• Family

• Children and their laughter

• Writing whatever God puts on my heart

• Etc… (the list is long)

More than likely, many of you reading this have very similar passions.   For this post, however, I will reflect on our most common – writing.

While I’ve always enjoyed making up stories or rhymes, especially when my children were young, I have only recently realized how much I love to write.  We will call it a latent talent, although I believe it has always lived inside of me.

In my recently published book of poetry I feature 40 faith-based poems. It’s my belief that God allowed me to write these poems, and do so with little effort. I feel blessed for that, and I give credit where credit is due! (I wish formatting had been as easy! 😁)

I hope that my love of God, family and mankind in general is reflected in my posts out here on WordPress.  It is what feeds my heart and my fingers when I write.

It is intentional when I write something out of sync with my other posts.  A short story or song or whatever, as I am passionate about staying as broad as possible to include as many tastes for the readers who follow me.

Thank you for all those who follow my blog.  You are my blessing every day!

I love all feedback too, as well as all the sweet and kind messages when words I’ve written touch the reader.  That is what keeps me going!

WordPress is such a beautiful release for so many diverse thoughts for all the writers.  I wish it could be duplicated and the heartfelt intent we feel for one another could spread around the world.

Maybe, just maybe, we can find tolerance, acceptance and love for our neighbor, regardless of who they are, and in doing so make this world a better place for our children. A dreamer is going to dream, and, sometimes, dreams do come true!

My wish for you all is for you to find your inner peace and see the good in others, so we can truly love our neighbors as ourselves!

Love is really the key!

Thanks so much for opening your door to us, dear Kevin! ❤️

Your immeasurable faith in God touches our hearts and minds with power and depth.

While your love for God, family, and mankind fuel your passion to write, your all-inclusive approach to your posts invites even more readers to your faith-filled blog.

As you live and breathe faith, you inspire us to look beyond ourselves. You encourage us to look with greater love towards our neighbors. You help us believe that we can truly make a difference in our world.

And we echo your wish of inner peace and goodness. For Love is really the key to open the doors of our hearts and minds. ❤️

So friends, thanks for dropping by!

DOORS SERIES, LOVE GUEST POST

DOORS: GUEST POST OF ASHOK, MUSINGS OF A WANDERER ❤️

Today, we happily knock on the door of a dear friend and fellow blogger:

Ashok from Musings of a Wanderer ❤️

It is an honor and such a pleasant surprise to be asked to write a Guest Post by Yeka. I have been very busy with some personal work and have not been blogging. But there was no way I could say no to this immensely loving friend and fellow blogger. I would gladly fly thousands of miles to have one hug from her.

She has gone through extremely challenging times and has come out of these stronger, more resilient and more filled with love. And she keeps sharing her love and her light with all️.

I share her belief and faith: Only Love!

For me too, love is all there is.

God is Love and Love is God!

Love heals.

Love redeems.

Let us all join together in this divine circle of eternal love.

WHAT IS MY RELIGION

I am a Hindu by birth. But if someone asks me what is my religion, I would say:

• It is compassion

• It is kindness

• It is being humane

And my God is: LOVE

My God is not sitting in a temple or a church or a mosque or any other place of worship. There is no god sitting on any mount or in any heaven!!

The love in our hearts is God! If you are kind, if you are compassionate, you are godly, you are spiritual!

There is no God outside of you. There is no God outside of me. There is no God who can ever be explained or defined!

Love doesn’t need any language. Love is a feeling and it can only be experienced. Love only needs loving! And God Being Love needs only loving. And God can only be experienced.

Hindu scriptures describe God as: Satchitananda — Sat Chit Ananda

Sat: Ever Existent

Chit: Ever Conscious

Ananda: Ever new Bliss

That is my God. That is the God I worship. That is the God I love. And that is the God I see and feel in the places of worship of all faiths and religions. Once we are filled with love we shall always be blissful.

And ultimately my Father and I are One.  Indian rishis and scriptures had said that too, millenniums ago: I am He. My soul, my love is a vital and inseparable part of the Great Spirit, of Divine Love.

The Holy Geeta, Bible and Quran sit side by side on the shelves of the bookstores and they never fight! Those who fight are the ones who have never read them or have not imbibed their message of love, universal peace and brotherhood!

There is not and there can’t be any difference in: Christ Consciousness or Krishna Consciousness or the Consciousness of Prophet Muhammad and Buddha; or any self-realized being.

There is no God of vengeance and there is no God we should be fearful of.

God is Love

God is Peace

God is Joy

God is Bliss

God is Patience

God is Compassion

God is Light

God is Purity

God is Beauty

Unselfishness is God

Nature is God

God is in the fragrance of the flowers.

God is manifest in every sunrise and every sunset.

God is manifest in the smile of the child and in the hug of a friend.

God is there in every pure emotion and thought.

We are going through very turbulent times. There is so much unrest and uncertainty in the young as well as old. The only way we can help the world is by changing our consciousness; and by not getting sucked into the negativity being spewed by media, the politicians and their allies. Once we raise our consciousness, once we become love, once we tear the veil of separation, we help whole of humanity.

I will love till my last breath.

In Divine Friendship,

Ashok

Thanks so much for opening your door to us, dear Ashok! ❤️

You have shared your freedom that comes with going beyond religion. Your liberation from the polarizing and divisive stands that institutions take. Your emancipation from biases, labels, and judgments.

And in your life, faith is a way of life. You have inspired us to be more tolerant with healthy respect and acceptance, with open minds and loving hearts. Instead of focusing on differences, we can acknowledge our similarities in goodness of soul and spirit. We can press ever so passionately into all that is True Love. For God is Love and Love is God. ❤️

So friends, thanks for dropping by!
